Nevval Sevindi gazeteci, yazar İzmir'de doğdu. İlk ve ortaöğrenimini Kemal Reis İlkokulu ve İzmir Türk Koleji'nde yaptı. Yüksek öğrenimini Ankara Üniversitesi Antropoloji Bölümü'nde tamamladı. Antik Yunanca ve arkeoloji üzerine master çalışmalarını Ege Üniversitesi'nde yaptı. İmar İskân Bakanlığı'nda araştırmacı olarak çalıştı. Dünya Bankası Çukurova Bölge Kalkınma Projesi'nde görev aldı. Pimapen Kültürevi'nin kurucu ve yöneticisi oldu. Uluslararası Seyahat Yazarları Derneği üyesi. Kadın Eserleri Kütüphanesi ve Bilgi Merkezi, Kadın Adayları Destekleme ve Eğitme Derneği'nin (KA-DER) yönetim kurulu üyesi. İlk yazı ve şiirlerini Argos dergisinde yayımladı (1989).
